Alan Strasbaugh has served as our Board Chairman since May 2007 and as Board Chairman of our operating subsidiary, R. H. Strasbaugh since 1978. Mr. Strasbaugh started employment at Strasbaugh in 1961. For the first ten years he worked in most phases of manufacturing and engineering, followed by eight years of manufacturing management, then ten years as General Manager and Director of Operations. He was CEO from 1990 to 1998, growing annual sales from $8 million to $80 million. He resumed the CEO position in 2010. He has a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has been awarded nine U.S. patents related to semiconductor manufacturing.
Mike Kirkpatrick is responsible for the sales and marketing of all of our products worldwide. In his 21 years of sales management and leadership experience, Mike has served as U.S. Sales Manager and General Manager for our data storage business and has been actively involved in our CMP program. Mike helped pioneer the application of CMP for read/write head fabrication. During his career at Strasbaugh, Mike has been personally responsible for over $100 million in semiconductor equipment sales. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.
Bill Kalenian's employment at Strasbaugh commenced upon his college graduation in 1995. He held positions in process engineering, process tool engineering, and manager of process tooling development. In 2003 he was appointed director of CMP tool development, in 2008 Director of Engineering and in 2010 elected V.P, Engineering. Bill is the innovator of many of Strasbaugh's carrier and CMP tool technologies. He earned a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He has been awarded five U.S. patents.
Brad Diaz's employment at Strasbaugh spans from 1988 to 1990 and 1995 to the present. He has held positions in product management, customer service and manufacturing management. He was appointed Director of Operations in 2005 and elected V.P., Operations in 2010. Prior to Strasbaugh, Mr. Diaz held positions in manufacturing management of commercial aircraft at McDonald Douglas. He earned a B.S degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
Eric Jacobson's employment at Strasbaugh started in 1990 in the position of Service Manager. He grew the department to fifty service tech's operating worldwide. In addition, he manages sales of spare parts and tool upgrades with total annual department sales of approximately one third of company revenue. In 2010 Mr. Jacobson was elected V.P, Customer Support. Prior to Strasbaugh, he managed manufacturing of optical devices at Hibshman Corporation. |
